Activist and writer who covers the Swedish "piracy" movement in a qualified way and have one of the most read an influential blogs (Texplorer) in this area (mostly in Swedish so far). I have written two reports (in 2006 and 2008) for think-tank Timbro where I go through all legal and political intitiatives in Sweden concerning blocking, filtering, data retention, wiretapping and surveillance of electronic communication, i.e. political initiatives to strangle free communications.
I also wrote extensively about the Danish interpretation of EU law when a court ordered a Danish ISP to block access to Swedish-based web site The Pirate Bay. I claimed the court decision was erroneous and broke an EU directive: swartz.typepad.com/texplorer/2008/02/pirate-bay-vs-1.html . This led to Danish ISP:s challening the block legally.
