Christopher (Chris) Comella

My background is venture finance in the media and communications space, but that was before I chose to reboot myself, buying a 1-way ticket from Washington, DC to Gothenburg, where I live now with my wife, Susanne. That was January 2006.

My ongoing journey has reinforced my belief that we (everybody on the planet) are all brothers and sisters and that we are much more alike than we are different. Making friends, traveling and living in other cultures are ways see that. And once you see that, you are changed. It's very positive. I am now founding a project around that idea. The project is called BuzzPal - The World Is Your Party www.buzzpal.com .

Maybe BuzzPal is idealistic, but I am idealistic. And so are millions of others of us around the world. I believe we can change the world if we try and if we take small steps, expanding the circle one person at a time, that kind of thing. To quote John Lennon: "People say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one."

PPS: If you do are interested in this project and might want to become a part of it, get in touch. Right now it's primarily myself and a seasoned (15-year, including in Silicon Valley, with startups and Fortune 500), interaction design and information architecht. Who are we looking for next? (1) architect: database, software, hardware, systems, application, everything, as close to all in one person as possible (our skeleton), (2) visual/graphic design (our skin), (3) copywriting/content (or voice), (4) marketing, PR, advertising (or promoters), and (5) a go anywhere, do anything business person to help me and take some leads (our Navy Seal).
