I don't know how many times I've been to Reboot, but I've been to most of them, and I look forward to Reboot more and more each year.

I've been involved in Computer Media (Media as the primary term) since the late eighties, doing a lot of different jobs, and working on a few "firsts".

I hold an MA in Media and Communications, and have worked in a number of computer media related areas: Research in Computer Culture, Games development, Governmental Technology Assessment, Education development, E-learning production and development, Information Architecture, Web Community Development and Web Communication Strategy. I have been involved in the Open Source Community (notably Drupal.org) for the past five years while at the same time working for a Microsoft Partner.

I'm currently working as an independent contracter - helping companies and organisations get their web projects on track and off the ground in a successful way. I offer my experience and insights when they work on their web strategy, develop a requirements spec., work on selecting a solution partner, develop a general information architecture and other tasks related to the planning phases of a web project.
