transitional web apps is where I see the future is heading. I have been researching this for a fair while and I am absolutely thrilled about it. So thrilled that I even dared to declare web 2.0 dead on my blog. The reason this is that web 2.0 is not where the cutting edge geeks are anymore.. they're somewhere else..
I believe they are in the world of transitional web apps... if you have some urge to believe it too - this is where you would want to be...
every "new" thing I have seen on the web points in this direction : TRANSITION - away from the web - towards the 1st life - either via mobile (jaiku and twitter) or via installations ( community photo frames, nabaztags, chumbys)
still there's a "something is missing" feeling that every person is getting when they are playing around with the transitional web apps.
why is this ? - is it because something is really missing - or is it because we secretly want the application to be free of the web as administration and instead have the apps to be a part of wifi but not ON the web ?
