Nonrealized twitter joke

Involving Stowe Boyd

There was a line for the bar yesterday, behind me Stowe Boyd was complaining "I hate lines"

I did NOT turn around and execute the following joke: "Come on, Stowe, at least this line has less than 140 characters"

"less than 140 characters" - is this a constraint or is this freedom to be crunchy and precise?

great joke, i agree.
Also i agree the dichotomy is not mutually exclusive.
However, the appeal of Twitter is precisely the freedom to be quick and crunchy; is this constraint not actually quite liberating?
