Alexandra is the CEO of Tinker.it Limited, a technology and design consultancy with close ties with Arduino. She will be speaking about what Tinker does (as an introduction to Friday's Arduino workshop) but also what it means to build a business that relies on the welfare of an open-source platform for creativity and DIY technology.
Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform that is gaining momentum and interest among artists, designers and developers alike. As an ecology of products grows around it, new challenges start to emerge.
