Visit Arken
see art on the coast
The Arken Museum for Modern Art is a short train/bus ride from downtown Copenhagen and is a wonderful way to spend some additional time post-reboot if you're still around.
Getting to Arken is easy: just take the "E" line of the S-Train to Ishøj station (you can take the "A" train too, but it's a "milk run" whereas the "E" is super-fast express from Ny Ellebjerg). Take the train in the Køge direction.
Once you get to Ishøj, walk down from the train platform and outside onto the bus platform, where bus 128 will take you directly to Arken (there's no confusion: the bus __only__ goes to Arken, and it's very, very obvious when you've arrived).
The journey requires a 4-zone ticket, which will cover both train and bus.
The bus leaves every 30-45 minutes to take you take to the station.
Arken is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10h00 to 17h00, and Wednesday from 10h00 to 21h00. Admission is 85 DKK and there's a very nice café on-site that serves light meals, coffee, drinks, etc.
There's a nice cross-section of modern art at Arken, ranging from sculpture to photography to painting to installations. The space itself is worth the visit alone; in some ways, architecturally, it's the anti-Louisiana.
There is also the added benefit of the seashore, and a pleasant beach, being right next door.
