Living off free (Part 1)

Learnings from designing Blyk - the free mobile network

This is a sister session to Michael Jackson's proposed session for Friday on learnings from Skype.

As we couldn't find a time for a shared session with Michael on I'd offer to host a small conversation on Thursday on what we have learned in the process of designing and launching Blyk, the free mobile network for 16-24s funded by advertising. In the discussion session I'd like to discuss the main design principles of the service and the workings of the business model. Blyk is currently live in the UK with over 100,000 members, launching soon in NL, DE, ES and BE.

I hope this could be an interesting "sister session" to Michael Jackson's sure-to-be-very-interesting one on Skype on Friday.
