Fablab

How to (almost) make anything

A few years ago Neil Gershenfeld created the idea of a FabLab:

A FabLab consists of a few digital machines like a lasercutter, a small millingmachine and a vinylcutter, located together. Anyone can come and use the machines to make whatever they want. The only condition is that you share the knowledge you gained and what you created; open source creation.

A Fantastic idea which in my opinion could be the beginning of "Freedom of production".

Todays market will be enlarged by the market of 1, every individual.

Still waiting!

This would be truly liberating, but we are still waiting for the FabLab revolution to hit us like the desktop/laptop/mobile have done...what would be the FabLab equivalent of blogs/tweets?
