A year of building for the coral reef

A year ago at Reboot9: Human, Matt Jones talked about travel and serendipity - the philosophical underpinnings of what we were trying to build with Dopplr. We also got to stage our first user group meetup on the lawn in the sunshine ourside the hall! Reboot was definitely our launchpad for talking about Dopplr in Europe, and we couldn't have done it without the conversations we had there.

A year on, we thought it would be interesting to go through what we've learned from our users about building a tool with them and for them, what we think is happening in terms of designing and building social tools within the 'free architecture of participation' that is the coral reef of the Internet.
