Second Life - rebooted

Free your 2nd life in Second Life

If reboot10 is interested ’Breindal Media’ and ’3L design’ can set up a stand or perhaps even facilitate a workshop about Second Life?

Breindal Media and 3L design has created several sims (Islands) in Second Life.

The last build was for ‘VIA University College, Campus Horsens’ and is now the most advanced and interactive Danish learning facility in Second Life dedicated to a.o. an International education in ‘Safe work places’.

From the Second Life website: Second Life® is a 3-D virtual world created by its Residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by millions of Residents from around the globe.

Doing a pure SL session is so '06

But with the virtual world pot boiling over, and dozens of big brands, media companies, and startups diving in, there's lots to talk about. Of course provided there are more than two of us who're interested :)

Anyone?

any connection with the theme?

i don't think anyone is interested in more SL hype - but if there we're great examples of secondlife setting people free to easily do prototyping, social experiments, etc. it would start to look like something.

that being said doing a SL meetup is always great for whoever that shows up.

Connection with the free theme ...

The educator’s mailing list has 5.000 users from all over the world and a raising majority of the 16.000 regions (islands) are dedicated to learning together in social settings. Student’s acts as enzymes and their avatars merge into new beings; nurses are trained to cope with chaos management in virtual emergency rooms and companies uses fast prototyping with their customers. Yes, creative learning has been set free ...
