Free from the Noise

Freedom from all the clutter and noise - freedom to do a creative, collaborative difference

Is it possible to make a software or a technology or a service that would make it easier to get to the core of creative action?
What is that freedom from? What is the freedom to?
And can that be done with the web?

Collaborative is the keyword here

Traditionally creative work (I'm talking about art here), has been a rather personal and individual process, but the technology makes it possible to connect with other artists, regardless of borders. We're already seeing some interesting examples of this, for instance getlost.nu and mellemrum in Copenhagen. So I envision large groups of artists working together in the future. When this happened in the past, magic happened, the COBRA (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COBRA_%28avant-garde_movement%29) springs to mind.

Until now, most of, the social web-services has focused on connecting with people you already know, not the sharing of ideas, the clutter could be removed by just having a list of ideas, you can then sign up, and follow how that idea develops, or propose your own idea(s)

What's the Value of Creativity?

Relevant to the "Free" theme I guess. Services like www.crowdspring.com have started playing with what you're talking about, but so far have only prove that creativity isn't very highly valued, and creatives don't know their own value either.

As for creatives collaborating *with each other* online, yes! Let's talk about that.
