How Do the corps handle Free
Being a corp type myself I'd like to see a session about how the corporates will handle this....
What will they do, who will survive, what changes do we predict in the marketplace
Who will win , who will loose.
Do corps get 'Free' etc
can they kill the free concept
Do we still need corporations?

Conversation?
Would be a great conversation i agree. Andy, up to doing the facilitation?
Okl so we are going ahead with this session
I'd like to see if we can get a conversation going about this:
I work for Royal Dutch Shell one of the largest corporations out there, whilst in this session I will not be representing the Shell view (I'm quite sure we don't have one yet) on this I will try and reflect how Shell and other corps from the 'original' economy see Free.
Some may say they have been doing free for ages - Free phone with your mobile account, loss leading areas to gain further work later on, triple bottom line reporting, and all the charitable donations that big and samll companies alike participate in.
But is this really Free, but then again is anything done for Free in the world. Isn't there always another motive.
The Shareholders point of view on this would be interesting to mull over.
Our work on Scenarios may help us here and I will briefly describe those.
Come along and join the conversation to see if we can bring togother original economy and new economy ideals
Scenarios are not free
Scenarios are not free of consequences- narratives of plausible futures come with responsibilities to implement and create value. There is no shame in maximising shareholder value!
Report on whistleblowing
Hi Andy,
Thank you for an inspiring session!
I've been looking for the report you mentioned on who actually leak data from organisations from Linklaters (?). I didn't manage to find it - could you guide me?
Thanks in advance!
Anne

Jonathan Schwartz, CEO of Sun: ""Imagine what would happen if a phone was given that would have a completely free calling plan. While, the consumer benefit is not readily apparant - companies will use analytics to make good money out of the data...If free, you are in the conversation Attract the customers - if the marginal cost of adding a user is zero, then you want to add as much customers as much as possible..."
This sounds like a good conversation to have....
I'd like to have a conversation about this! I tend to see all organizational structures as tools. Corps sometimes give me the feeling they're a hammer looking to turn everything into nails. At the same time, I am sure there are times and places where a hammer is exactly what you need. Can we explore the purposes and limitations of corps as a tool?
