Just an idea for next year, take it or leave it:

For the next reboots I think it would be nice with a return to some of the good things that we know "just work" web-wise. A simple, clean, non-innovative discussion forum type site or "/." clone would be one possible form.

As reboot is only two days I think it's extremely important to get the discussion going in advance, and (IMHO) this is best facilitated if you do not need to learn how to use the site in the first place.

Also, by stretching the discussion to last some time before and after the event it would be possible to share thoughts with some part of the people that you will not get to discuss with in person at the event (ie the majority) as time is a scarce ressource.

So, going back to basics so to speak, if we could get a primitive discussion forum type web site up and running ahead of the event we could perhaps share and discuss ideas with more ease, and greater participation.

I know it's been done before; I was there. Done before does not equal bad.
