The web everywhere: $10 paperbacks, $50 phones, $100 laptops and $250 game consoles

Web browsers find their ways into all kinds of devices, and web
languages are used for all sorts of purposes. The success of the web
has attracted many new users and use cases. How does this change the
web itself? This talk will:

- present some novel web devices, including the $100 laptop
- discuss proposals for HTML5, including the <video> element
- showcase how CSS3 can be used for professional printing
- report on the progress of the Acid2 test
