How Re-formatting the Bible Makes it Useful Again

The Bible has been the most sold and published book ever since the printing press was invented. With more than 7,5 billion copies produced there is a Bible for every person on the planet. But in terms of new media it has been totally under-served. This is due to a scattered market, an old navigation and an unwillingness or inability to re-format the content. But with the help of new media and new distribution models, the Bible can become navigable and useful to everybody, irrespective if you believe what it says or not.

Despite the fact that the Bible is the by far most widely spread content on the planet, it is almost catastrophically under-represented online. But it was not always that way. In many aspects the Bible has been on the forefront of technology up til modern times. This is a case study of really, really old media, how it has developed over the years, and why it has a perfect match with new media, social networks and new distribution models.
