Out of the Crisis

Rebuilding Japan from the rubbles of WW2 and what these principles teach us today.

W.E. Deming was sent to Japan to help rebuild the country following WW2.

Based on his humanistic view, the long-term quality and learning oriented management principles he taught Japanese industry became the foundation for Japan's success after the war.

In this talk I will introduce his 14 principles for management and show how respect for people, long-term thinking, quality focus and relentless learning is a great starting point for building successful companies in times of scarcity.
