Green Architecture for the Future

Installation at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art

I highly recommend that you see the installation Green Architecture for the Future" at the Louisiana Museum if you have some free time before or after reboot: it's a fantastic, thought-provoking, very well-staged exhibit that blends art and science and design. And Louisiana is a beautiful museum in a great location and a nice day-trip from Copenhagen.

Getting there is easy:

  • from Central Station buy a ticket on the train to Humlebæk (you can look up train times here).
  • the train will take 40-50 minutes to get there.
  • when you arrive at Humlebæk, walk out of the front of the station to the main road, and then turn left and walk for 10 minutes until you reach the museum, which will be on your right in the woods (there are some signs pointing the way, but they are subtle)

There's a very nice restaurant at Louisiana, and if you take in all the exhibitions you could easy spend 3 or 4 hours there.

combo ticket available

DSB is offering a combo ticket with entrance and (return) transportation for 166 DKK..

works out pretty well.. since entrance is usually 90 and buying tickets on the train will be crazy expensive..

get it at any DSB ticket office.. Like at Nørreport station..
