This sounds very interesting
Did it makeit into the program?
Community radio
1) comments and ad-hoc contributions during the talk, e.g. such on Community Radio, will be very welcome.
Community radio does in fact come in - e.g. the Sengerema Mesh that we ll talk about is linked to the Sengerema FM radio station.
Lots of synergy between FM, mobile and IP networks.
did it make it into the program?
we think so :)
Updates
Discussing contents with those interested, we know that we will
- focus quite a bit on User Owned Networks as such, be that in Scandinavia or Tanzania - similarities, differences, principles, ...
- have to do without Eric Osiakwan being physically present - Visa delays .. :( - his contributions will be part of the talk though. Maybe over video link - but thats tbc
- obviously, welcome any contribution, discussion, before, during and after the talk
at reboot, we ll be where the bike is :) -

And where does community radio fit in?
Happy to add some comments about how (radio) broadcast and mobile are working together in West Africa in ways that I think may be of interest in Easy Africa too. Take a look at some of the videos I collected at the Africa Gathering in London. www.vimeo.com/5050313 or www.vimeo.com/4417995, www.vimeo.com/4106116 and in other places around the world. The future of broadcast in Africa is closely connected to the future of mobile.
