Time to consider the connection between copy and context, in the age of abundance.
The files are already downloaded! What to do now, in the age of cultural abundance? Well, now it's time to talk about how to create meaningful contexts from that abundance, instead of just stockpiling files. Rasmus Fleischer and Magnus Eriksson, both co-founders of Piratbyrån, will use their direct experiences from the heated copyright battles of recent years, to analyze how the performative aspects of culture can be understood as something larger than what's usually associated with the notion of "live".
This presentation will link together experiences from the copyfight, a very special ritual this year's Walpurgis night, examples from 20th century musical history and general reflections about how to involve technology in new kinds of performativity.
