How to leverage the power of honest conversations

Let's face it: Tradidional one-way marketing sucks!
Everyone of us is receiving 5000+ marketing-messages every day and we are just fed up with this. The problem of today's marketing is that most of the budget is spent on things that annoy people. Is this really sustainable?

Today, blogs are the best way to start a global conversation. You can start a corporate blog, you can comments postings that are written about you or you can hire bloggers to start a conversation about you.

I see blogs as the the foundation of conversational marketing. And conversational marketing will be the marketing era that will substitute the classic broadcast model.

The foundation of this conversational era can be found at the CLUETRAIN manifesto (www.cluetrain.com) which was published in 1999. Now it's time to apply and implement those ideas on a broader scale. My presentation will provide a contribution to this - focusing mainly on how to use blogs as a valueble marketing channel for companies & especially start-ups.
