Miller is the genius behind the comic book (well, comic really doesn't cover it) Sin City and the deconstruction of Batman in the eighties (thanks Simon!). With three major motion picture releases based on his graphic novels (Sin City in 2005, 300 last year, Sin City 2 due this year), he probably can convey the traps and tricks that make and break the end result in such big projects. Plus, Sin City is just plain brilliant, off course.
