slides online
Thanks folks! I've put the slides and my notes online: schulzeandwebb.com/2007/people/
Claus: Gosh! Sorry I didn't reply to your comment before--my run-up to reboot this year was full of travelling and work, and I didn't have time to participate here. I hope the presentation managed to address your thoughts: I put forward that 'products are people too' is a useful design perspective (given the way we understand objects, and that objects are actors in the world), and more useful than designing from a perspective that holds that products are inert objects whose capacities can be fully known. Slides 19 and 20 cover this, and steer away from anthropomorphising.
Comments, as ever, most welcome. I'll check back here periodically, and my email address is on my website.
