And how will we keep it?

I wonder what kind of traumas would break out should Flickr be sold again or closed in the future. Yes, I am sure that we could download our photos again, but the metatags and descriptions? Would they go away?

I recently bought a Canon camera and they kept bugging me to upload to their site instead of Flickr. Didn't do it. I'm glad I didn't. They sent me an e-mail saying they were migrating to a new site and I was responsible for migrating my own content....or it would be erased. I'll never trust them again.

Seriously, the more I put photos on Flickr, the more I wonder about the long-term future.
