But is it going to be there in 5 years time

I have several thousand photos on Flickr. I know that they say that if they change their business model, I can download them back onto a hard drive. But what about all the metadata that has taken hours to write and compile? I can imagine traumas from people I know if they ever lost their photos - and yet they have no real agreement with Flickr. We're really talking about the future of personal heritage here - and trust.
