I would agree that empowerment is all about the skill to take control of one's life. That skill is not necessarly a given at birth and as far as I can tell, it is the most valuable of all acquired skills.

In your question there is the implication that a leaning path may be an individual path, not a generic one, that allows the refinement of the skill that say, we now call self-empowerment.

So, are you asking that we first figure out the nature of our individual learning path towards empowerment, and then write the specs for the tools (software and hardware, physical and intangible)?
